Jewellery Care & Repair
We craft our pieces to be lived in and loved, and with a few simple habits and a little care, your jewellery can retain its beauty and integrity for years to come.
Please see below a list of instructions and recommendations to keep your VIVIE piece in perfect condition.
Every Day. We recommend removing your jewellery when swimming, exercising, or applying lotions, perfumes, or hairspray. Chlorine, sweat, and harsh chemicals can dull or damage metals and stones over time.
Put your jewellery on last when getting ready, and take it off first at the end of the day.
Cleaning. Diamonds: Soak your pieces in warm water with a few drops of mild dish soap for a few minutes and brush lightly with an old toothbrush. Rinse and pat dry with a soft lint-free cloth.
For 14K gold: Clean by hand using warm, soapy water and a soft cloth or brush, then dry thoroughly. Avoid abrasive cleaners or
rough cloths that could scratch the surface.
We also recommend a professional clean 1-2 times per year for all of your pieces.
Storage. When not wearing your jewellery, store each piece separately in its box, a soft pouch or zip‑lock bag when travelling, to avoid tangling and scratching. Keep chains fastened when stored to help prevent knots.
Notes on Wear. 14K Gold is durable enough for everyday wear, including showering, but we recommend avoiding chlorinated pools and the ocean to prevent damage to metals and stones.
Diamonds are the hardest natural material but can still chip if struck hard enough - so avoid wearing your jewellery during heavy activity such as when cleaning or in the gym.
If layering your tennis necklace with VIVIE beads or other chains, take extra care to avoid unnecessary pressure or friction that could damage the delicate settings. Periodically check the claw settings around the stones to ensure they remain secure and no stones are loose.
We recommend having your jewellery professionally serviced once a year. Pieces with prongs or clasps can loosen with wear, so checking and tightening these settings help ensure minimal risk of losing any stones.
Warranty. We stand by the craftsmanship and quality of every VIVIE piece.
We offer a six‑month warranty from the date of purchase, covering manufacturing faults in materials and workmanship.
