Friends and co-founders, Tash McDonough and Jess Cheetham, share the same belief when it comes to diamond jewellery: luxury and ethics should never be mutually exclusive.

Despite their penchant for diamonds, they noticed a gap. If even they hesitated to spend on jewellery unless the quality, price and style made true sense, it raised a bigger question. With Tash's industry experience, they recognised that the value otherwise on offer often fell short - and surely the everyday consumer deserved more.

Pronounced Vee-Vee — VIVIE is named after our daughters — Violet [Vi] and Evie [Vie].


Jess and Tash met when their daughters became friends at daycare at age two. They went their separate ways starting prep at different schools, but reconnected in grade five - and have been inseparable ever since.

Evie and Violet are a perfect juxtaposition - different in spirit, similar in soul - but somehow always in sync. Where one is soft, the other is spark. Where one leads, the other lifts.

Different in personality, style, and flair - but when they’re together, it just works. Like diamonds and denim - effortless, natural, unbreakable.

So, when Jess and Tash dreamed up a brand grounded in meaning, connection, and girl-gang energy - VIVIE was the name that fit.

They started VIVIE to redefine what fine jewellery looks and feels like. More fashion-minded, more conscious, more real.

With Tash’s expertise in luxury jewellery and fashion buying, and Jess’s entrepreneurial instinct for building brands, they recognised the undeniable power of a diamond stack. It transforms more than style; it transforms confidence.
